Bryony grew up in a garden nursery on the edge of Exmoor in Somerset. She has a passion for nature and her work tells the story of the leaves; their intricate patterns, movement and translucency in the sunlight.
Bryony trained and worked as a graphic designer and is mostly self-taught in the craft of stained glass, where she uses the most delicate and beautiful blown and hand flattened glass to create glass art designs.
Bryony uses irregular, textured glass and her designs are a sensitive and moving remembrance of nature. She is inspired by pre-raphaelite paintings, African textile patterns and the light and movement of the sea.
